The Colorado Youth Dance Theatre (CYDT) is a youth dance company made up of Denver Metro teens between the ages of 12 and 18. We provide professional dance and choreography experience for members through the instruction of a diverse and talented group of local choreographers, designers and teachers.
CYDT members create and run a full production in May featuring their own choreography and that of local professionals. We are also seeking student designers and technicians to collaborate with CYDT members in the creation of our show.
CYDT company rehearsals are held on Saturdays 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM September through May with a winter holiday break. A weekly technique class and attendance at rehearsals are required. Monthly tuition is $50. We do offer work-study scholarships based on financial need.
